FALL IN COLOR

Celebrate the coming of autumn's abundance to the Pacific Northwest in full, glorious color. In this afternoon workshop, students will receive guidance in selecting a palette and creating a centerpiece that is both vibrant and cohesive using locally grown and foraged flowers, foliage and seasonal fruits. Siri will demonstrate her step-by-step process for building foam-free arrangements inspired by the forms, combinations and contours of nature. Margaret Thorson, expert plantswoman and experienced farmer, will be on hand to offer advice regarding the cultivation of organic cut flowers in the home garden.
Treats and afternoon tea will be served. Vessel, reusable kenzan, floral supplies and flowers are included. Clippers will also be provided for the duration of the class. Number of students is limited and fees are non-refundable.
